Ingredients:
Marvelous Macadamia Nut French Toast
from the private kitchen of Lynfred Winery Chef Chris Smith

4 whole eggs
2/3 cup Orange juice
1/3 cup milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 loaf Italian or French bread
½ cup Macadamia nuts (diced)
melted butter


Instructions:
Beat first 6 ingredients with wire whisk. Place bread slices in a single layer in a tight fitting baking dish. Pour milk mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate over night (turning once).

(Next Day): Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour melted butter in a jelly roll pan, spreading evenly. Arrange bread slices in a single layer on pan, sprinkle with Macadamia nuts. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with real maple syrup and fresh berries.
