 Coffeecake Recipe

Ingredients:

Coffee Cake

1 beaten egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp. Melted shortening
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking powder

Combine egg, sugar, milk and shortening. Add flour sifted with salt and baking powder. Mix well and pour into greased 8" square pan. Sprinkle with mixture of 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. melted butter and 1/2 cup broken nuts; spread evenly over dough. Bake at 375 degrees, 20-25 minutes. Best served when hot, right out of the oven!
