Ingredients: 2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
1 egg, lightly beaten
4 tbsp. melted butter
1 cup milk
1 large cooking apple, peeled and diced
1/2 chopped walnuts
Instructions: Mix dry ingredients. Add egg, butter and milk. Mix by hand just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in the diced apple and walnuts. Spoon into a greased muffin tin and bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until edges of muffins start to brown.
