Ingredients: 2 lbs. lean stew meat Large onion, sliced thin Package of carrots, cut in ½ inch chunks Stalk of celery, cut in 1/2 inch chunks 3 potatoes, quartered Instructions: Put meat in bottom of roasting pan. Cover with vegetables. Sprinkle with 2 tsp. salt, 2 Tbsp sugar, 2 tsp. tapioca. Pour a cup (or a little more if you think it is needed) of tomato juice or V-8 over all. Bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Do Not Peek! |
