Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 5  

Ingredients:
Bircher-Muesli

2 cups natural yogurt (Brown Cow recommended)
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup milk (organic if possible)
3-4 Tblsp. of sugar
2 apples, chopped
2 bananas
1 orange
Some grapes, strawberries or any other fruit*
½ lemon

(I use only one large apple, peeled & chopped; I don’t
Add the banana, orange or grapes. Instead, I use 1 cup or more
Of the Costco combo of frozen strawberries, raspberries &
blueberries. I squeeze the lemon juice over the chopped
apple if I have it on hand.)

Chopped walnuts to add on top just before serving.



Instructions:
The night before, stir together yogurt, oats, milk and sugar. Mix together fruit.
Squeeze lemon onto fruit. Add frozen berries. Combine everything
To your taste. Leave overnight. If you like, you can add nuts,
Raisins or whipping cream.

This famous dish was created in Switzerland by Dr. Bircher in 1887
at his diet clinic. In 1924 it was named
