Ingredients: 4 slices ham 4 oz shredded Swiss cheese 4 eggs 4 teaspoons heavy cream Salt Pepper 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese Paprika 2 tablespoons chopped parsley Instructions: Butter 4 ramekins and place a layer of ham in the bottom of each. Sprinkle each with 1 oz of Swiss cheese. Break one egg over top of Swiss cheese, being careful not to break the yoke. Pour 1 teaspoon of heavy cream on top of each egg. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with paprika and 1 tablespoon of grated parmesan on each egg. Bake 5 additional minutes or until white is just set. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Serve one ramekin per person, garnish with parsley or chives before serving. |
