Ingredients:
Cream cheese
Ricotta cheese
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
Dash nutmeg
Cannola oil
French bread, sliced approx. 1/2 inch thick slices


Instructions:
Cream together equal amounts of cream cheese and ricotta cheese until fluffy. Spread cheese combination on one slice of French bread and top with a second slice of bread - sandwich style. Combine egg, milk and nutmeg in shallow bowl. Heat connola oil in skillet until hot. Dip "sandwiches" into egg mixture and soak well. Drop into hot cannola oil and fry until golden on both sides, turning as needed.
