Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
OLIVE OIL 1 or 2 teaspoons
RED PEPPER ˝ in small cubes
ONION ˝ in small cubes
CELERY One small branch in cubes
CILANTRO At least 4 branches or more if you like
BEEF CONSOMÉ 1 teaspoon of powdered consomé...or more
LIZANO SAUCE 3 teaspoons (available in CR...)
BUTTER 1 teaspoon
BLACK OR RED BEANS(cooked) 1 cup
LONG GRAIN RICE (cooked) 2 cups

Instructions:
COOK RICE WITH diced sweet red pepper, onion, celeri & cilantro.

COOK BEANS WITH garlic, onion,sweet red pepper, celeri & cilantro - KEEP PART OF THE LIQUID WITH BEANS.

FRY IN OIL Red pepper, onion, cilantro and celery

ADD COOKED BEANS with a small quantity of the liquid from the beans and stir until until hot

ADD COOKED RICE and stir until hot

ADD Consomme, Lizano sauce and add the butter at the very end

SERVE Immediately. Leftovers can be frozen.

Notes:
Serve with 'natilla' (sour cream), Salsa Lizano and of course 'huevos picados' (scrambled eggs) and a full cup of fresh roasted Costa Rican coffee...Hum, really worth the trip!
