Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Cook Time: 40 minPrep Time: 10 min
Yield: 4 servings 

Ingredients:
6 slices stale bread or fresh bread toasted
6 eggs
1 Cup light cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp cinnamon

topping
1 tbs. soft butter
1 tbs Karo syrup
1/4 - 1/2 C lt brown sugar
1/2 Cup chopped walnuts
1/2 Cup finely chopped, peeled apples (optional)
1/2 Cup raisins or currents (optional)


Instructions:
Butter a 9"X12" baking dish. Place bread in row overlapping. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and pour over bread. Refridgerate overnight.
Mix topping ingredients and spread over bread.
Bake 350 degree oven for 40 minutes until bubbling and puffy. Enjoy!
