Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Cook Time: 25 minPrep Time: 15 min
Yield: 9 servings 

Ingredients:
3 oz unsweetened or sweetened chocolate (approx. the size of 2 deck of cards)
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar (optional)
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
"extras" nuts, coconut, choclate chips etc...

Instructions:
Talk about an EASY recipe! Mix all in one pot.
In a heavy saucepan, melt 3oz (approx.the size of 2 decks of cards) unsweetened chocolate with 1/3 cup butter over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and add 3/4 cup sugar. (if using sweetened chocolate, do not add sugar). Whisk in 2 eggs, 1 at a time whisking well after each addition. whisk in 1 tbsn vanilla and gradually stir in 1/2 cup flour.
At this point, you can add any "extras" like coconut, nuts, chocolate/butterscotch chips.

Spread into a waxed paper lined 9"X9" pan and bake at 350* for 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting into bars...then hide them from the kids until ready to serve.
