Ingredients: 10 oz dark chocolate (best quality) 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate 2 sticks unsalted butter, cut into chunks 2/3 Unsweetened cocoa powder 6 lg eggs 2 1/2 c sugar 4 t vanilla 1 t salt 2 c flour variations: toasted walnut pieces, white chocolate chunks (use REAL white chocolate w/cocoa butter), 2 T espresso powder, 2 T creme de cacao) preheat oven to 350F. Butter (or spray) a 13x 8 x 2 inch pan (NOTE: recipe may be cut in half; then use an 8 or 9 inch sq pan)and line with foil, or use nonstick pan melt chocolates and butter in micro. stir in cocoa. in mixer, beat eggs, sugar vanilla and salt. add in warm chocolate mixture, then flour, stirring just until mixed. bake about 35 min - do not overbake! let cool, then cut into bars. (easier if chilled.)may be fozen or kept refrigerated for 5 days. Instructions: Notes: these are truly the best if you like chewy, fudgy brownies! |
