Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 2 dozen 

Ingredients:
2 cups bran
1 cup oatmeal
2 1/2 cup flour
2 tbsp plus 2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
3 cups walnuts (chopped)
2 cups dark raisins
1 cup yellow raisins
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup molasses
4 eggs
2 cups milk soured with 2 tbsp. vinegar

Instructions:
Plump raisins and drain. Combine all dry ingredients, drained raisins, and walnuts. Combine cold butter and flour in food processor. Process to a mealy texture. Beat eggs, milk, and molasses together. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mound into paper-lined muffin tins. Sprinkle with raw sesame and sunflower seeds.

Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. bake 20 minutes.
