Yield: 8 servings 

Ingredients:
1 lb. Italian Bread
8 oz. ricotta cheese
4 eggs
1/2 cup cream
1 Tbls vanilla
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Confectioner's sugar
VERMONT maple syrup

Instructions:
Thinly slice bread into 24 slices. Spread 12 slices with fresh ricotta cheese; top with remaining 12 slices. Beat together fresh eggs, cream, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon. Dip bread and cheese sandwiches into egg mixture; grill slowly until browned. Dust with confectioner's sugar; serve with Vermont maple syrup.
