Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:
3 C "Krusteaz" Buttermilk pancake mix (or home mix if you prefer)
2 C Liquid approx. until consistency isn't too thick. You can use water, milk, or leftover Hazelnut creamer
1 Tbsp sugar
1 egg (beaten) or 2 egg whites or 1/4 cup egg beaters
1 tsp Canola oil

Instructions:
Note...Remember to plug iron in 10 minutes before you start making waffles. Also, just before adding batter to iron you MUST spray iron with Pam or other oil before each other addition.

Mix all ingredients together. Do not overbeat. When griddle iron is hot, spray with Pam then ladle in batter by 1/3 cup (one on each end of the iron and 1/2 of 1/3 cup in the middle). Lightly spread across batter and quickly close iron. It will emit steam and the red light will go on. The light goes off when ready. Lift handle gently to peal down if necessary. Serve with generous dollop of favorite conserve and encircle that with whipped cream. Have butter and warm syrup available.

I garnish with edible wild flowers and leaves for a very special presentation.
