Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 7 servings 

Ingredients:
1 1 lb. loaf unsliced French bread
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, cubed
8 eggs
2 cups milk
6 T margarine, melted
1/4 cup maple or regular syrup

Instructions:
Cube French bread, grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Spread 1/2 of bread cubes in baking dish. Top with cream cheese cubes and then remaining bread cubes. In a blender or rotary hand mixer, mix eggs, milk, melted margarine and maple syrup till well combined. Pour eggs mixture evenly over bread and cheese cubes. Using a spatula, press layers down to moisten. Cover with plastic wrap, regfrigerate 2 to 24 hours. Remove plastic wrap, bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes until center set edges golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes. Slice, serve with apple cider syrup.
