Ingredients: 8 cups olds fashioned oats
1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup wheatgerm
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup poppy seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup cashews
3/4 cup almonds
Wet Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
Instructions: 1. Combine all dry ingredients in large bowl, stir.
2. Combine all wet ingredients in microwaveable bowl. Heat on high for 3 minutes. Stir well.
3. Pour mixture over dry ingredients. Stir until well mixed.
4. Spread granola onto large baking sheet
5. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 375°F, stirring every fifteen minutes.
6. Let Granola cool and add currants or raisins, if desired. Freezes well or keeps up to 1 month in sealed container.
