Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Cook Time: 30 minPrep Time: 15 min
Yield: 4 servings 

Ingredients:
2 C Milk
¼ C packed brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Butter
½ teaspoon salt
1 C Oatmeal (Not quick or instant)
2 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 C finely chopped apples (no need to peel)
½ C raisins (I like golden)
1/2 C Craisens (sweetened dried cranberries)
I also like to add almonds - about a 1/2 cup.

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease medium casserole dish. Combine milk, brown sugar, butter and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to simmer, cook until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Put oats in casserole. Stir in milk mixture, cinnamon, apple, nuts and raisins. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

Notes:
Any dried fruits can be used. Recipe can be doubled. Serve with milk or cream.
