Ingredients: 6 cups Portuguese sweet bread or other left over white bread about 4 Eggs 1 or 2 cups milk 1 tsp salt cinnamon to taste optional: raisins, craisins or nuts Instructions: This is a recipe to use the left over bread in your refrigerator. Spray 9 x 12 baking pan with Pam. Tear up left over cinnamon sweet bread and add to baking dish. Mix eggs milk, cinnamon and salt. Pour over sweet bread and bake until firm. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes. We like to use Cinnamon Sensations Portuguese Sweet bread. Notes: Serve warm. Great with a lemon sauce. (Lemon concentrate with sugar.) |
