Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Whether you're hosting a formal get-together or need a quick brunch idea, this book will spark your imagination and your appetite.

Cook Time: 15 minPrep Time: 15 min
Yield: 4 dozen 

Ingredients:
2 ¾ C Flour
1 ¼ tsp Baking Soda
1 ¼ C Butter (at room temperature)
1 ½ C firmly packed light Brown Sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
24 oz (or about 4 C) Chocolate Chips
1 C chopped Pecans
1 C Oats
1 C diced Dried Cherries


Instructions:
1.Set oven at 375 and position rack in middle of oven.
2.Mix dry ingredients and set aside
3.Combine butter and sugar; beat until creamy
4.Add eggs one at a time
5.Add vanilla and beat until light and fluffy
6.Gradually beat in dry flour mixture
7.Gently (but thoroughly) stir in choc chips, nuts, fruit and oats
8.Spoon tablespoons of batter on cookie sheet
9.Bake 10 - 12 minutes; will make approx. 48 cookies. Enjoy
