Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Cook Time: 10 minPrep Time: 20 min
Yield: 20 servings 

Ingredients:
Mix Wet
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 Teaspoon vanilla

Add Dry and Mix
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup powdered baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Add Last and Mix
3 cups old fashioned oatmeal
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup pecans



Instructions:
Instructions: Pre-heat oven to 350ºF. Mix group A (sugar, butter, egg, vanilla) in a large mixing bowl. Mix group B (flour, cocoa, soda, salt) in a separate mixing bowl. Add group B to bowl with Group A, mix until well blended. To this dough add group C (oats, chocolate chips, nuts) and mix well. Chill finished dough mix for one hour. Roll dough into balls (about 2 Tablespoons per ball) and place on no-stick cookie sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes. Be sure to have plenty of cold milk on hand when serving.
