Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 20 servings 

Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar.
3/4 cup chopped walnuts.
1 Tablespoon melted butter.
1 teaspoon cinnamon.
1-1/2 c. brown sugar.
1/2 c. margarine.
1 egg.
2 c. flour
1 teaspoon backing soda.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1cup sour cream.
1 c. apples chopped.


Instructions:
- Mix the first 4 ingredients and set to the side.
- Cream together the brown sugar, margarine, & egg.
- Mix together in med. bowl, the flour, baking soda, & salt.
- Have ready the sour cream & salt.
Start with the flour mixture & mix a little into the creamed mixture,then add a little of the sour cream, then a little flour , then a little sour cream, and end with the flour mixture. Stir in apples and put mixture into an oiled 9x13 baking dish, add the topping. Keep in the refrigerator overnight and bake the next day at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Enjoy warm or cold.
