Ingredients: BERNERHOF INN PANCAKES 1 ½ C flour 3 TB Sugar 2 Tsp Baking powder 1 tsp. Baking soda 1 tsp. Salt 1 C buttermilk* 1 C sour cream 2 Eggs 3 Tsp. Vanilla extract 2 Tb. Melted butter Instructions: Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Add this to the dry, mix until just blended (do not over mix, it will stiff & little lumpy.) These pancakes come out light and fluffy. Ideal to top off w/fresh fruit or a fruit topping. Makes about either 4” pancakes. If you don’t have buttermilk, add juice of a lemon or vinegar to regular milk, let sit 5-10 minutes. Notes: My guests LOVE these and ask for the recipe all the time! |
