Ingredients: This recipe brought to you by Plumb House B&B Emporia, Kansas Aunt Rosie's Rolls Scald 2 cups milk Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, 1 Tbls salt, 6 Tbls shortening Cool to luke warm Measure into a bowl: 1 cup lukwarm water 2 tsp sugar 2 pkg yeast Let stand until dissolved, then stir Add 3 eggs beaten. Stir and add 3 cups flour, beat until smooth. Add and stir in an additional 3 cups sifted flour. Turn dough out on lightly floured board. Knead; let rise until double. Knead gain, let rise again. Roll out, spread with soft butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up like a jelly roll. Slice and place in greased pan. Let rise and bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned. Instructions: |
