Cook Time: 25 minPrep Time: 15 min
Yield: 1 dozenInactive Prep Time: 5 min

Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon Organic raw granulated sugar
• 2 cups all-purpose Organic flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender buds, minced
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
• 1/2 cup Organic buttermilk
• 1 whole Organic egg


Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°.
In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
Add cold butter into the dry ingredients and with a fork cut butter into flour until mixture reaches consistency of coarse corn meal.
In a medium bowl, whisk together Organic buttermilk and Organic eggs; add mixture to dry ingredients.
Press mixture into a 1-inch high round; don’t knead or over-work your dough.
Cut dough into 12 wedge-shaped pieces; place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake until lightly browned, 20-25 minutes.

Notes:
Serve warm with butter, preserves or clotted cream if you can get it!
