Ingredients: 1 3/4C. FLOUR 7TBL BUTTER DICED 1C. GRANULATED SUGAR PINCH SALT 2 EGGS For the chocolate: 2C. HEAVY CREAM 1# SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE 2TBL. KAHLUA 1/2C. CHOPPED HAZELNUTS Instructions: -Cream the butter and sugar -Add the eggs one at a time -When the eggs have been incorporated, slowly add the dry ingredients -Place in refrigerator and allow to chill -Roll out and place in a 10” tart pan -Blind bake @ 350f till golden brown Chocolate -Heat the cream to just below a boil -Place chocolate and Kahlua in a mixing bowl -When cream is ready, pour over chocolate and allow to set for approx. 30 seconds, so it can start to melt -Stir gently until completely melted -Pour into prepared tart shell and sprinkle with chopped nuts -Allow to chill completely in the refrigerator -Remove from tart pan and cut with a hot knife to desired size |
