Ingredients: 1 cup quick-cooking grits (not instant)
4 cups water
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup (4 Tbsp) butter
1 cup grated cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese
1/8 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs, beaten
Instructions: Place the grits, water, and salt in a 2 quart saucepan. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the butter cheese, garlic powder and eggs. Stir well. Pour mixture into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
