Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 4 dozen 

Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon almond extract
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup finely chopped pecans
Powdered sugar to coat


Instructions:
1.Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, ½ cup sugar, the vanilla and almond extract. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt. Beat at low speed until soft dough forms.
3.Stir in Pecans.
4.Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
5.Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until set.
6.Immediately roll cookies in powdered sugar.
7.Cool completely, Reroll cookies in powdered sugar before storing.
