Cook Time: 1 hr 30 min
Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:
12 slices cinnamon bread
¼ c butter, melted
8 eggs
2 c half and half
2 c whipping cream
¾ c sugar
1 T vanilla

Instructions:
Line the bottom of a greased 13”x9” baking dish with 6 slices of bread. Brush remaining bread with butter and place, butter side up, over bread in pan.

In large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add half and half, cream, sugar, and vanilla, and mix well. Pour over bread, let stand for 15 minutes or cover and place in refrigerator overnight.

Place dish in a larger baking pan. Pour boiling water into larger pan to a depth of 1”. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean (I usually end up baking this closer to 90 minutes!). Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

This is great topped with maple
