Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Cook Time: 15 min 
Yield: 4 servings 

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter
8 slices white bread with crusts removed
8 eggs
salt and pepper to tast

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine syrup and butter in microwavable dish and cook until butter is melted. Press out bread with rolling pin. Brush each slice with the syrup mixture and press down into greased muffin cups. (The dry side should be up in the muffin cup.) Break one egg into each muffin cup and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Bake 15 minutes. Yields 4 servings

Notes:
Before attempting to remove the baked eggs, take a knife and separate the bread from the muffin cups. Then, pull out with two forks.
