Ingredients: 2 cups reg. or quick oats 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup pure maple syrup 2 Tablespoons veg. oil 1/2 cup pecan pieces 1/2 cup cashews 1/2 cup sliced almonds pinch of salt Instructions: Combine all ingredients into large mixing bowl. Spray cookie sheet w non-stick spray. Bake @ 300 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 min. Notes: The pure maple syrup is the key to this recipe. The syrup helps "cluster" the ingredients, making a great, chunky, snack granola. Pairs perfectly with an all-natural, vanilla yogurt. |
