Ingredients: For every two eggs used add the following: 1/4 cup Milk 1 tsp. Sugar (more or less to taste) 1 tsp. Tortuga Rum (more or less to taste) Sprinkle Cinnamon & Nutmeg to taste (more cinnamon than nutmeg) Whip thoroughly and you’re ready for your French bread. The denser the bread the better the French toast Praline Sauce 2 lbs Brown Sugar 16 oz. Karo Corn Syrup 3/4 cup Water 1 tsp. Cinnamon Cook over low to medium heat. Stirring continuously with whip until all Brown Sugar is broken up. Bring to boil. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM!!! . . . IF IT BOILS OVER IT IS A MESS. Instructions: Notes: (Optional) Sprinkle French Toast with Pecans and Powdered Sugar. |
