Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients: 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour ½ cup cocoa 2/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup vanilla chips ½ cup pecans or walnuts, chopped ½ cup butter or margarine, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 eggs Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 7x12 or 9x13 baking dish and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, sugars, salt, baking powder, chocolate and vanilla chips, and nuts. Stir butter, vanilla and eggs into dry ingredients just until blended. Do not overmix. Pour into prepared baking dish. Spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool in pan on wire rack. When cool, cut into desired size pieces. Enjoy! |
