Ingredients: 3 cups quick oatmeal (or Old Fashioned) 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup milk 1/2 cup butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. Baking Powder Instructions: Combine together butter, sugar and eggs. Add milk and vanilla. Mix together the oatmeal, salt and baking powder. Blend with the milk mixture. Place in a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 300 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Scoop into bowls. Blueberries, strawberries or bananas may be served on top of this. It is very good with cream or half-and-half. Peaches in season are great served on top of this also. |
