Ingredients: 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled & cut in 4 pieces 2 cans Crescent rolls 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 2 sticks butter 12 oz. can of Sprite Instructions: Melt butter and add sugar and cinnamon, stirring until blended. Cut each can of crescent rolls in 4 squares and wrap an apple slice in each square. Pour sugar mixture in bottom of pan (or casserole dish), place dumplings on top, pour Sprite over dumplings and bake at 350 for 35 min. Turn dumplings over (carefully) and cook about 10 min. longer. |
