Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
(if using self-rising, eliminate next 2 ingredients)
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 stick marg, melted
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream

Instructions:
Grease 10-in iron skillet or 9 in baking pan. Place in cold oven and preheat to 375. In large mixing bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in pecans. In other bowl, beat margarine and sugar, by hand, until smooth. Mix remaining ingredients into margarine, then pour all at one time into dry mix and stir until well mixed. Pour into hot dish and sprinkle evenly with Crumble Topping. Lightly swirl knife through mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes or until cake pulls away from side of pan. Let cool 15-30 minutes before drizzling with icing. Makes 12-15 slices.

Crumble Topping:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp butter or margarine cut into small pieces
1 Tbsp cinnamon

Cut butter into ingredients until coarse

Icing:
1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Stir together until smooth
