Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 8 servings 

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 cup half and half
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp basil
1 lb mild cheddar cheese shredded
20 hard cooked eggs, thinly sliced
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Buttered Stove Top stuffing

Instructions:
In a medium saucepan melt the butter. Add the flour, milk, and cream, stirring until the sauce thickens. Stir in the herbs and Cheddar cheese. Mix well until all the cheese has melted. Place some of the eggs in a casserole, sprinkle half of the bacon and parsley over the eggs. Add the cheesesauce. Repeat. Sprinkle the stuffing on top. Refrigerate. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Can be prepared a day or 2 in advance and refrigerated.
