Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Cook Time: 25 min 
Yield: 8 servings 

Ingredients:
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk
3 eggs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
pinch of salt

5 slices Havarti cheese, cut into small pieces
1 pear, unpeeled, cored and sliced thinly

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400. Grease 9x13 in. baking pan.
Press puff pastry onto bottom of pan. Bake about
8 minutes until golden and puffed.
Mix together in medium-sized bowl flour, vanilla,
milk, eggs, salt and melted butter. Beat until
smooth.

Cool baked pastry a bit, then top it with the
sliced pear. Pour dough batter on top. Sprinkle
cheese squares on top of batter, pressing some
down into batter.

Bake about 20 to 30 minutes until edges are brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

Offer fresh preserves or jam to be eaten with
quiche. Cut into squares and serve.
