Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients: 3 cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cups butter 1/2 cups vegetable shortening 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup milk ________________________ 1 cup sugar 4 tablespoons cinnamon ________________________ Mix flour, baking powder & salt. Cream butter and shortening, add 2 cups sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Add extract to milk. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to butter mixture, beating after each addition. Combine 1 cup sugar & 4 tablespoons cinnamon for topping. Grease a 10" X 4" tube pan. Pour 1/2 of batter in pan and sprinkle 1/2 of topping on batter and then the rest of the topping. Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Remove from oven and cool thoroughly before removing from tube pan.
