Ingredients: 1 loaf French bread 2 eggs 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3 cups 2% low fat milk 1 cup half and half cream 1 stick melted butter 1 tbs vanilla extract nutmeg and cinnamon fresh fruit Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice French bread 1 1/2 inch thick and place in ramekin. Pour mixture of eggs, sugar, milk, cream, butter, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon over bread. Allow 5 minutes to soak. Turn the bread over and refill to 3/4 level. Garnish with fresh fruit and bake for 45 minutes. Serve with walnuts, syrup and sausage on the side. |
