Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
4 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp cinnamon (just sprinkle a bunch in)

3 oz cream cheese (we use more), softened
12 slices of raisin bread (frozen is easier to work with)

2 ripe bananas
3 tbs each butter and oil
sour cream
orange fruit sauce (see below)

Fruit Sauce
(Adapted)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tbs lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbs orange liqueur

Instructions:
Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon until well blended. Gently spread cream cheese on one side of six slices of bread. Crusts may be removed.

Peel and slice bananas and place on top of cream cheese. Dip both sides of these carefully in egg mixture and place on greased grill (300 degrees). Cook on each side until golden brown. Serve with fruit sauce and sour cream.

Fruit Sauce:
Heat all ingredients in heavy saucepan until sugar dissolves. Add vanilla and simmer until thickens. Remove from heat, stir in orange liqueur. Sauce may be stored in refrigerator for future use since this makes more than enough for one recipe.
