Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Ingredients:
Makes 2 cakes

1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2/3 cup milk
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions:
Beat shortening and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir together 2 1/4 cups flour and baking powder. Add to beaten mixture alternately with milk.

Spread in two greased 9" round baking pans. Top each with 1 cup of blueberries. Combine 2/3 cup sugar and 2/3 cup flour; cut in margarine and almond extract until crumbly. Sprinkle over blueberries. Bake in a 350 oven about 35 minutes. Cool slightly, cut into wedges.
