Ingredients:
3 cups flour or 3 1/2 cups flour eliminating bran and whole wheat
1/4 cup oat bran
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
8 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup butter
3/4 cup raisins (optional)
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk


Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in butter and add fruit and liquids. Blend together. On floured board, knead 6-8 times. Divide into 3 circles, cut into 4 pieces. Place on greased baking sheet. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
