Ingredients: Ingredients: Per Person
1 tsp veggie oil
¼ chopped onion
½ packet silken tofu- firm
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp seasoned salt
Instructions: In a non-stick skillet heat oil and sauté onions. Crumble the tofu while it is still in the box, cut open and add tofu to the pan. Brown for two minutes. Now add the turmeric and seasoned salt. Continue to stir and brown for another minute or so. You may also add some veggies like tomato, mushrooms, peppers and the like. If your guests are willing you can substitute the turmeric for curry powder.
Comments:
This is a great recipe to keep up your sleeve when guests arrive and inform you that they are vegan. Always have a packet of silken tofu in your cupboard and you will never be caught short.
