Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 7 servings 

Ingredients:
4 large tart apples-peeled, cored and thickly sliced
1/2 cup pitted prunes, cut in half
1/2 cup raisins
1 orange-peeled and cut into bite size pieces
3 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbs cornstarch
1- 20 oz can pineapple chunks, drained

Instructions:
Place apples, prunes, raisins, orange and water in a large sauce pan. Bring water to a boil and cook for ten minutes. Stir in sugar and cinnamon. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water. Add cornstarch and drained pineapple hot fruit and stir for two minutes while simmering. Fruit may be served hot or cold. Great for winter mornings.
