I just want you to know that I feel this is the greatest list of breakfast food recipes that I have ever come across. Believe me, I surf the web many hours a day and I am lucky to have found this web site. Keep up the good work.

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbs. butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup cream or condensed milk (we use cream)
2 tsp. sugar for sprinkling

Instructions:
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Cut in the butter until the mixture reaches the consistency of small peas. Separate the eggs and set aside two tablespoons of the white for brushing on top before baking. Combine the remaining egg (whites and yolks) with the cream and pour this mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined. The dough will be moist but workable. Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead 10 to 12 strokes.

Break dough in half and form two circular portions about 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. Cut each into four quarters and place on a greased baking sheet. Beat the remaining egg white and brush it on top of the dough. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake scones in a preheated 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
