Ingredients: 1/2 cup & 3 Tablespoons butter 1 large yellow onion 2 tablespoons dried parsley or 1/4 cup fresh parsley 1/2 cup & 3 Tablespoons flour 7 cups hot milk (Use part milk and part half & half if desired) 2 teaspoons salt & pepper Scant teaspoon paprika 3 teaspoons curry powder (may omit) 24 hard cooked eggs, shelled & sliced 8 ounces cream cheese (optional) Instructions: Melt butter. Cut up yellow onion and brown it. Add parsley, flour, and hot milk. Heat. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and curry powder. When sauce is smooth and boiling, fold in eggs. (8 ounces cream cheese may be added to sauce; reduce milk) |
