Lee Lee's German Breakfast Cake
4 tablespoons butter melted
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping:
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Lightly mix the butter, egg & milk. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Pour liquid into dry mixture and stir to smooth out limps. Do not overmix. Spray an 8 inch square pan with cooking spray. Pour in batter. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 9 generous servings.
