Ingredients:
2 cup flour
1 Tsp. salt
2 Tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 Tsp. thyme
2 eggs
1-3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup butter

Orange Butter
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter melted
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2/3 cup sugar
1 oz. julienne of orange zest
1 pint orange juice



Instructions:

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat eggs, then add to dry ingredients. Add orange juice and butter.

Melt the butter with the cornstarch for 1 minute (make a white roux). Cool. Heat orange juice and add. Stir until thickened. Add sugar. Bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Add equal parts of orange butter and maple syrup.
