Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Yield: 3 dozen 

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups evaporated milk
5 eggs
1/2 cup milk
5 cups all-purpose flour
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup poppy seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, eggs and milk in a bowl. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and egg mixture to dry ingredients, then mix in poppy seeds and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into greased muffin tins (3/4 full). Bake 25 to 35 minutes. Serve warm.
