Ingredients: 2 qt. Baking apples 2 tbsp. melted margarine 1/3 cup sugar 1 1/2 cups apple cider 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. raisins Instructions: In skillet, slice apples into melted margarine. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add sugar. Flip apples over, cover and simmer until tender but not mushy. Remove to serving dish and put apple cider, brown sugar, butter, cornstarch and raisins in skillet. Cook until slightly thickened and add apples. |
